We are beyond excited to launch the Dutch Fabric user group! With this user group we aim to share knowledge with each and everyone in the Fabric community in and around the Netherlands.

For our very first launching meetup of the Dutch Fabric user group, we are welcomed by Macaw at their headquarters in Hoofddorp. We will have three exciting speakers to share their knowledge in the wonderful world of Microsoft Fabric.

Christopher Mendyk, is a Senior Cloud Architect at Microsoft and Fabric Technical Insider. He specializes in Modern Data Warehouses and Lakehouses on Azure Data Platform. Over the past decade designing and implementing large-scale analytics solutions with strong focus on Financial Services industry.

Setting up Fabric Capacities in Azure: How to and considerations

Fabric has 2 different licensing models, Power BI and Fabric Capacities. In this session, we will walk through Fabric Capacities and have a look at the differences between them. We will cover:

* When to select Fabric Capacity over Power BI licensing
* Azure requirements and roles
* Fabric Roles
* Location considerations
* Pricing considerations
* How to enable in fabric

Christian Henrik Reich is a principal architect at twoday kapacity in Denmark in the department for Technologies and architecture. Christian is also part of Mugato as a senior developer and AI developer. He started programming as kid, and still does. Christian has made everything from embedded programming to data warehouses. Last decade, his focus has mainly been on data. From optimizing and infrastructure to designing and building data solutions in cloud and on-premise.


Location

We are gathering at Macaw at their headquarters in Hoofddorp. You will find them at the Taurusavenue 16E, 2132 LS Hoofddorp.

      We hebben helaas beperkte ruimte. Houd de website in de gaten, we verwachten dat er dichter bij de event datum mensen eventueel hun kaartje annuleren, en die komt dan automatisch weer beschikbaar!
